On August 21, 2026, Prime Art Lab in Warsaw’s Powiśle district opened “Last Summer 3,” a painting exhibition by Julia Stratovich. The evening ran from 6 to 9 PM at the gallery’s address, Stefana Jaracza 3/27.
Last Summer 3 is the third chapter in the artist’s ongoing Last Summer series — a meditation on the fleeting nature of moments, and at the same time, on hope. On being present. On the quiet beauty of being here and now.
In her distinctive visual language, Stratovich presented her canvases almost like photographic negatives. Working with intense reds and turquoise, she captured fragments of seemingly ordinary moments and transformed them into something timeless — almost archetypal. Her figures became carriers of experiences that are deeply personal, yet strangely universal: moments that disappear as quickly as they arrive, and yet return, in different forms, again and again.
Last Summer 3 invited visitors to pause for a moment — to look, remember, and simply be present.

I am pleased to share that my works are now presented at the newly opened PRIME ART LAB art salon in Warsaw. The gallery officially inaugurated its new space on 26 June 2026 with a private opening held in a beautifully restored 1930s Functionalist townhouse in the city’s Powiśle district.

The inaugural exhibition brings together a carefully curated selection of works by artists represented by founder and curator Dominik Zieliński. It was a pleasure to be part of this opening alongside such a strong group of contemporary artists.

PRIME ART LAB focuses on long-term collaboration with artists whose practices combine technical excellence, authenticity, and a distinctive contemporary perspective. The gallery operates through an invitation-only programme of exhibitions and curator-led events, offering collectors and visitors a more personal experience of contemporary art.

I am grateful to be part of this new chapter and look forward to future exhibitions and projects with PRIME ART LAB.

On 12 June 2026, my solo presentation of Clownery took place at House of Storks in Warsaw.
Clownery explores human self-representation in the contemporary world—both offline and online. While in the past we were expected to perform mainly at work, at school, or within our families, today we are also expected to constantly maintain a carefully constructed digital identity. We invest enormous amounts of energy in creating an image, seeking recognition, and feeding the ego until life itself begins to resemble a kind of clown performance.
The paintings portray Pierrots after a long shift—a metaphor for the modern individual who has spent the entire day competing for attention and a place in the spotlight. Behind the costumes and theatrical gestures lies exhaustion, vulnerability, and the desire to be seen beyond the roles we perform.
Presented at House of Storks, the exhibition invited visitors to reflect on the fragile boundary between authenticity and performance, questioning how much of our identity belongs to us and how much is shaped by the expectations of others.

I am pleased to share that my painting Flying Kites (2024) from the series Last Summer was presented at a charity auction during the 20th Polish Spring Ball at Palais Ferstel in Vienna.

The work was donated especially for this occasion and successfully found its new owner during the auction. The funds raised support the Incorpore Foundation, an organization that promotes research, diagnostic, therapeutic, and educational initiatives for children, young people, and adults at risk of social exclusion, as well as individuals with disabilities.

The Last Summer series explores the emotional memory of fleeting moments. In these paintings, I reflect on summer as a time of freedom, nostalgia, and quiet happiness. The works speak about how moments pass, yet memories remain with us, carrying a sense of hope and continuity.

Participation in the group exhibition “Jasiński & Friends 8”
In June 2025, I participated in the 8th edition of the group exhibition “Jasiński & Friends”, held at Galeria ToTuart in Centrum Praskie Koneser.
The exhibition ran from June 3 to June 27, 2025, and concluded with a live and online auction, where my work “Dancer” was successfully sold. The exhibition was curated by Dominik Jasiński and Dominik Zieliński.
